I want to go through life with tongue in cheek
Be a little mischievous
I want to play
Because life is already serious enough
I want to jump around in a field full of grass
Roll down a hill without a care in the world
I want to dance to the singing of birds
Follow a butterfly
Run around with it
And hop each time it flies higher
I want to fall into a mud pool
And laugh about it
As I watch the mud color my feet
I want to stop by a river
And count the tadpoles
I want to mimic the frogs as they croak
Then play with the water a little
I want to feel the coolness of the stream on my skin
On a hot afternoon
Splash some water on my face, then giggle
I want to feel my heart rise
Each time I let out a careless laughter
To choke on the laughter a little
And feel my chest get lighter after
I want to play through life
So that at its end
I will be happy tired
From all the fun I had
